Fendi Vintage Mama Baguette Suede

A rare Mama Baguette from the early 2000s collection, this shoulder bag is crafted in soft beige suede & matching light tan leather trim & shoulder strap.  Special edition glitter resin Fendi Forever buckle fill accents the style on polished shiny gold-tone hardware.  A textural take on a classic.  

The Fendi Baguette was first introduced in 1997.  Earning its name from the way it was designed to be carried, the rectangular yet skinny shape allows to tuck under the arm, the way the French would tote home a bakery baguette.  It's popularity continued to soar after appearing on Sex and the City, and was deemed one of the first 'it bags'.
