Historical Context

Founded in 1966 by Italian tennis champion Sergio Tacchini, the brand became known for introducing color and fashion-forward design to a sport traditionally dominated by all-white attire. By the 1980s and 1990s, the company had expanded beyond apparel, producing eyewear that reflected the same balance of athletic influence and refined Italian design.
