Bold, sculptural and unmistakably 1940s. Made in France around 1940, this 18K gold ring is a classic example of the Retro era “tank” style, whose stepped, architectural lines echo the machine-age design of the World War II years. Two diamonds of approximately 0.25 carats each anchor the design, framed by warm gold. A substantial statement ring with real presence on the hand. Bears French assay marks.
