Description

This classic vintage Givenchy woven mesh collar necklace is part of the highly celebrated accessory collections of the 1980s of the House.  The collar features a thick, rounded mesh weave that is fluid and flexible, allowing the design to sit perfectly against the collarbone without feeling rigid.  A polished curved tube serves as the minimalist focal point with engraved house emblem, anchoring the mesh chain.  Branded lobster-style clasp with an adjustable extender finishes the style.  During the 1980s, the House of Givenchy leaned heavily into minimalist luxury, mixing heavy industrial textures (like woven metal mesh) with ultra-polished, clean centerpieces.
